Meet Lisa Renda Trauma Specialist
Do you need hope that your life can improve? Are you having the same go-no-where arguments with the ones you love? The best thing I can do for clients is to help them feel hopeful as they discover greater satisfaction in their personal and sexual relationships. I believe that we each have personal strengths we can use to improve our problems. I can help you to find and use your strengths to get un-stuck. My goal is for you to feel empathically supported in your quest for more joy and peace.
I have personal experience living in relationships affected by PTSD, ADHD, and addiction. I passionately support and educate clients around these concerns. I also counsel people living with sexual addiction concerns. I find joy in my work as clients move towards greater peace and hope in their lives.
Lisa is trained in EMDR and is a certified sexual addiction therapist with the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals. She is currently working towards her certification for Somatic Experiencing, a Somatic type of therapy to release trauma from the body. She currently serves as an AAMFT approved supervisor Candidate and is on the staff of Northpointe Recovery Intensive Outpatient Program for substance abuse recovery. She is passionate about attachment, Trauma, and neurobiology, and how they each have an impact on how we recover from trauma and addiction, particularly process addictions.
In her relaxing hours, Lisa enjoys sleeping out in the Southern Utah wilderness to see the beautiful stars, hiking, kayaking, and reading historical fiction. Most of all loving her beautiful grandkids. She tries to set a little time aside for some volunteer passion projects such as working at Encircle in Saint George. On the horizon, she hopes to do more gardening and travel.

Meet Chris Driessen
It is difficult sometimes to come to an office, meet a new person and then tell them intimate details about your life. I understand this and I do my best to provide a safe and welcoming approach to our work together. To create a safe and effective therapeutic relationship I am committed to principles of equity and inclusion in my therapeutic work. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and ally.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist associate and specifically trained in attachment issues and the healing of trauma. I am most interested in healing couple relationships, whether the main issues are betrayal trauma and addiction, anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, or just general issues with healthy communication. Most couples coming to therapy struggle with a combination of some of these things. My clinical focus is on attachment and relationship repair, shame reduction and intimacy, men and vulnerability, anxiety depression, and supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community or those questioning or transitioning. I use a multi-modal approach including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy.
I received My Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University in 2021 and my Bachelor's of Science Degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2019. I love to be outside hiking, mountain biking, camping, or fishing with my family. I’ve also recently found new interests in drawing and painting and I’m eager to learn more. I also enjoy a good podcast or book and I’m always open to recommendations!

Meet Joyce ClemenTs
I am enthusiastic about creating hope in clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma.
My background as a music teacher for people of all ages gives me an added dimension of understanding vulnerability and shame when it shows up in therapy because often these are emotions even the best musicians and vocalists have to manage and overcome. I help clients to understand and identify when these emotions are emerging to bring them to a new sense of well-being. If you are struggling with betrayal trauma, relationship issues, or wanting to heal from trauma, I can help. I am a student in the social work graduate studies program at the University of Utah, and a mother of three amazing kiddos. For fun, I like to snowboard, sing, and hang out with my family.
